This specific weekend had to be chosen, following Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19th. Get ready for the upcoming celebratory event on the seas, running from 11am UTC on Saturday, September 21st to the same time on Monday, September 23rd!

Just like always, the Community Weekend is a two-way street, and we encourage players to prepare something to share with us and their fellow pirates, whether it’s about their adventures, creations, ideas, or just some old-fashioned sentiment. All this while enjoying everything else that’s going on, such as freebies, discounts, special Voyages, and Plunder. But first, let’s start with the essential Community Emissary Grade…

Engaging with Twitch

Here’s how it works: while the Community Weekend is ongoing, log in to Twitch and watch any streamer in the Sea of Thieves category. Your viewing hours will contribute to a cumulative total, which will then drive up the Community Emissary Grade. This will increase the multiplier on gold, reputation, Seasonal Renown, Allegiance, and Guild Reputation for all players! Reach Grade Five, and it’s two-and-a-half times the usual rewards for everyone until the end of Community Weekend.

Cease, Drop, and Elevate
Those who have participated in previous Community Weekends know that the excitement kicks in the moment you join, with free rewards dropping right into your lap. This time around, you can anticipate receiving the exclusive Season 13 Community Weekend Flag and the mesmerizing Shimmy Dance Emote. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want those?

Additional free items can be obtained through Twitch Drops, including a spyglass and shovel from the Stormy Sea Dog set, a concertina and bucket from the Stalwart Sea Dog set, and our latest goal: the Obsidian Captain’s Table. Once again, the community must work together to unlock this impressive addition by collectively completing a total of 100,000 World Events. Upon achievement, the Obsidian Captain’s Table will be attainable through Twitch Drops and will surely enhance the interior of any Captained ship! Well, perhaps “enhance” isn’t the right word, but you get the idea.

Still not satisfied with the freebies? Then expand your options further by exploring the Talk Like a Pirate Day Sale in the Pirate Emporium. This sale not only offers its own freebie (the Rage Unleashed Emote) but also contradicts its name by running for eight days from September 19th–27th. Amazing bargains await! The Ongoing Pop-Up Plunder

While cosmetics are undoubtedly attractive, we recognize that you also desire treasure – preferably treasure that fetches a substantial amount of gold when turned in during a high-ranking Community Emissary Grade. To provide you with more opportunities to discover such coveted items, Pop-Up Plunder is making a return for the Season 13 Community Weekend!

Once a Pop-Up Plunder spot is activated, you’ll receive an in-game notification, and hints shared on Sea of Thieves social channels like Twitter/X, Instagram, and Discord will guide you in the right direction. Each server contains only one piece of plunder, turning the search into a race against other crews on the same server – and a race against time to unearth it within one hour before the treasure vanishes in a burst of glitter and dashed hopes. Embrace the challenge, and you’re bound to secure something worthwhile – perhaps even one of the special loot-filled Community Crates introduced for this occasion…

Amassed Wealth of Opportunities

In addition to the exciting Pop-Up Plunder event, we are thrilled to introduce some rewarding new Voyages available on the Quest Table throughout the weekend. The Order of Souls is eager to take advantage of the increased traffic on the seas by offering lucrative Bounties on the troublesome Obsidian and Shadow Skeleton Captains lurking at the recently introduced Skeleton Camps of Season 13.

While these new Bounty Voyages are not repeatable indefinitely, you will have multiple opportunities to embark on these exciting quests and reap the rewards. During this special skelly-targeting event, you can find these Voyages under Special Voyages on the Quest Table.
